Mrs. Katheryn Neeley Woodfin, 92, of Chesterfield, went to be with her Lord and her husband Mercel DeForest Woodfin on Friday, May 27, 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Caroll Butler and her husband, Roger of Chesterfield, and son, William (Bill) Woodfin, and his wife Joyce of Clarksville, Va. Grandchildren include Darrell and Katherine Butler, Owen and Rose Butler, Curtis Butler and friend Pat Hall, Laurie and Brad Knight, Christene and Troy Pearson, William (De) and Jami Woodfin all in the Richmond area; fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many loving relatives and friends. She was a faithful member of the Kingsland Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7:00 -8:30 pm on Monday, May 30th at the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 West Hundred Road, Rt. 10, Chester, Va. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, May 31st at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer�s Association. Condolences can be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Though it's been a long time, I wanted to send a quick note of sympathy over the passing of your mom. You and Joyce are in my thoughts and prayers.

Please know Jamie and I pray for your comfort and peace with the loss of your mother. It's been quite a while since we have seen one and other but we remember you fondly. Hope to catch up with you someday soon.
