King Sr., Robert E.

Robert Edward King, Sr. 76, of Carson died Friday, May 6, 2005 at his residence. He was born the son of the late Joseph and Mary B. King. Mr. King was the owner of Roberts BBQ, and also worked at Kings #1 and Kings #2 where he was known for his special chopping technique. He is survived by his wife Louise U. King; a son Bobby King; a daughter Christine K. Hinton; four step-children James T. Britt, Terry N. Britt, Michael W. Britt, Teresa M. Britt; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Monday, May 9th at Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com

Sorry to read about Roberts passing. I have enjoyed many barbecues from all the restaurants over the years.
Knew his Mom and Dad also in Col. Hghts.
