Doris Clarke Riley, 95 formerly of Petersburg died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 in Stafford Co., VA. She was a native of Dinwiddie Co. and the daughter of the late Anna Arie Gill and John Archer Clarke. She was the widow of William Edward Riley. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Clarke Riley Beever and husband Robert of Stafford, VA; granddaughter, Anna Wesley Crockett Merryman and husband Richard; great-granddaughter, Caroline Hamption Riley Merryman all of Kilmarnock, VA. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, April 30, 2005 in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with interment to follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
