Mary Katherine Durrett Hamlett of Chester died April 17, 2005. She was predeceased by a daughter, Olivia Gins; a son, Robert �Bobby� Kahn; three brothers, William Durrett, Harold Durrett, and Robert Durrett. Survivors include her son, Stanley Kahn; two sisters, Bessie Sadler and Claire Johnson; three grandchildren, Tracie Watson, Wendy Deaner and Curtis Moore; ten great-grandchildren, John David Harris, Christopher Gibbs, Justin Lantripp, Jeremy Lantripp, Cayla Moore, Joshua Henderson, Heather Moore, Sean Henderson, Amber Watson, and Olivia Moore. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 22nd at 11:00 am at Bethany Baptist Church, Spotsylvania County. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service Thursday, April 21st from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. My sister, Helen, married David Hamlett. It was through her that I came to meet Clarence and Katherine. Please accept my sympathy in your loss of this truly beautiful family member.
