Green, Louise A.

Louise Atkins Green, 86, of Colonial Heights, died Friday, April 15, 2005 in Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Louisa County, VA and had been a resident of the Tri-City area for most of her life. Mrs. Green was a member of First Baptist Church in Hopewell, and a retired assistant librarian for Maude Langhorne Nelson Library for 42 years. She was the daughter of the late James William and Henrietta Waldrop Atkins and the widow of Phillip Daniel Green. Mrs. Green is survived by a twin sister, Lucille A. Robbins of Colonial Heights, VA, two brothers, G. Melvin Atkins of Hopewell and Lewis S. Atkins of Edgewater, MD. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 17, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 18, 2005 at 11:00AM in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County, with the Rev. Dr. John Carpenter, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating.
