Lorraine Miller Taylor age 63 of Dewitt died Friday, April 8, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Dorse and Sella Hayes Miller, the widow of Robert B. Taylor, Sr. and was a former employee of Dinwiddie Public Schools. She is survived by her daughter, Mary T. Gartman; two sons, Robert B. Taylor, Jr. and Dorse E. Taylor; two grandchildren, Jesse M. Gartman and Dorse E. Taylor, Jr.; four sisters, Vivian Rudowicz, Shirley Maynard, Geneva Dollar and Phoebe Lumbus; three brothers, Denver Miller, Arthur Miller and Danny Keith Miller. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 11 at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery, McKenney. Memorial contributions may be made to the Altzheimers Association.
