Roark, Nelson E.Thursday, March 31, 2005
Nelson Eugene Roark , 79, of Chester, died Wednesday March 30, 2005 . He was a retired employee of Firestone and a veteran of World War 11 . He is survived by his wife, Margaret H. Roark, Chester; son Robert W. Roark and wife Christine, of Chester; daughter Sandra Thomas and husband, Clayton of Greensboro, N. C.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 2, at 12:00 noon, Enon Church of God.. Interment to follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday night at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service Chesterfield Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
