To a very Lucky Family, You are all so fortunate to have had a mother like Elsie. Remember that when you grieve her passing. I am sad that she was only in my life for a short time. But during that time she gve me so much, laughter, seeing her continue with her life even when I know it was hard for her, never saying anything bad about people, and much, much more. I will never forget her performances in the shows that we did and the night she was crowned Queen, and the discription fitted her to a "T".
I have only spoken of her from my personal loss but she was an important part of Dunlop House and she will be missed by many.
I am sure when she went to heaven the angels were singing "Hello, Elsie" .
Thanks to all of you for sharing your wonderful mother with us.
We were so sorry to hear about your mother's passing this week. She was a wonderful loving person and we will miss seeing her when we are home visiting my parents (Ann and Tony). My favorite memory will always be her working in the yard with a big smile and getting excited when we were home with our daughter. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Sincerely, Chris,Kelly and Kathleen
Dear Pat,Debbie and Steffie:
I was sorry to hear of your Mother's death. I have many fond memories of spending time at your home many, many years ago when we all lived on Moorman Avenue. I remember how much fun your Mother was and how much I loved coming to your home. Blessings to each of you during this difficult time.
I am saddened to hear of Elsie's passing. She was both a mentor (at DGSC), and a friend. One of the most thoughtful and caring people I've ever known. Elsie will truly be missed not only by her family, but so many people whose lives she touched. There will never be Another Elsie for many of us.
My thought and prayers to your and your families. She loved you all. May you find comfort in her love and memory.
Mrs. Riley will be well missed. She was the join of my day coming into the Dunlop House. But, know that GOD always knows that is best for us all. God be with you and I will keep the family in my prays.
