Walton, Jr. Charles

Charles (Chuck) Walton, Jr., 42, of Richmond, VA passed away March 18, 2005 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Richmond, and was employed as a sheet metal worker for a construction company. Mr. Walton was preceded in death by his father Charles C. Walton, Sr. He is survived by his mother and step father, Grace and Jerry Cabaniss, wife, Laurie Walton, two daughters, Crystal & Amber Grace, grandmother, Beatrice Walton, one sister, Bebe Boone and her husband Kenny Boone, one brother, Terry Walton, one nephew, Jerry Studer, one niece, Karlee Clements, three aunts, Alice Singleton, Joyce Smith, Sharon Walton, two uncles, Richard Widmark, Tim Walton, a companion Beverly Collins and a host of cousins. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 1:00PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with the Rev. Michael Robinson officiating. Following this service, the family will receive friends at the Hopewell Optimist Club, 1400 Lynchburg Street, Hopewell, VA. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hume-Lee Transplant Center Foundation, c/o Donna George, RN, P.O. Box 980510, Richmond, Virginia 23298.

Gracie, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I can not imagine what it is like to lose a son. I know that God will give you strength. I hope that your pain will soon be replaced with the good memories that I know you have.

My heart goes out to you, Gracie. I can tell from the video just how much you loved Chuck. He will be waiting for you and one day you will be reunied with him and there will be no more suffering or pain. God will surround you with his love.
