Gill, Beulah F.

Beulah F. Gill, 73, of Mechanicsville, widow of Herman Preston Gill, passed away Monday, March 21, 2005 at her residence. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Lillian Gay Carlisle. Mrs. Gill enjoyed Washington Redskins football and was a longtime Elvis Presley fan holding membership in the TCB Elvis Club. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Mitchell and husband, Duane of Bumpass, VA and Rene G. Atkinson of Mechanicsville; four grandchildren, Gary Peters and wife, Pam of Mechanicsville, Stacey Penrod and husband, Jacob of Harrisonburg, Anthony Peters of Mechanicville, and Mike Mitchell of Richmond; and three great-grandchildren, Tony, Preston, and Skyeler Peters all of Mechanicsville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at Southlawn Memorial Park.
