Joyce Sessums Berry, 65, of Hopewell, passed away Monday, March 07, 2005. Born in Blackstone, VA, she was a daughter of the late David L. and Martha Watson Sessums. She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Lee Berry; a daughter, Tammie Berry Bailey and husband, James C. of Prince George; three sons, Bruce W. Berry and wife, Vicki, Kenneth L. Berry and wife, Lynn, and Rex A. Berry and wife, Jane all of Dinwiddie; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Baird and husband, Lonnie of Virginia Beach and Marylyn McQuage of North Carolina; and a brother, David E. Sessums and wife, Joanne of Dinwiddie. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Rick Allison officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
