Moody, Birdie P.

Birdie P. Ridout Moody 81 of Petersburg, died March 7, 2005. She was a native of Mecklenburg Co, VA and the daughter of the late James W. Parham, Jr. and Eva Reekes Parham. She was retired from Brown & Williamson after 23 years of service. She was a member of Livingstone Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Neil R. Moody; son, Herbert Ridout and wife, Delores of Petersburg; daughter, Lois Tatum and husband, Jerry of Petersburg; grandson, Jon Wesley Tatum of Richmond; granddaughter, Lea Ridou Tatum of Petersburg; three sisters, Edna P. Brown, Emily P. Brown both of Dinwiddie and Elsie P. Perkinson of Petersburg and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, March 10, 2005 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
