Marie Davis Hendrix, 87, of Chester, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005. She was the widow of Charles Irven Hendrix. Mrs. Hendrix is survived by three daughters, Dorothy L. Coley, Chester, Va., Frances L. Finch, Brodnax, Va., and Michele H. Edwards, Danville, Va.; six grandchildren ; seven great grandchildren ; three brothers Earnest C. Davis, and Douglas E. Davis of Farmville, Va., Veldon Davis , Chesterfield, Va, and four sisters Hazel Barnes, Highland Springs, Va., Thelma Andres, Georgia, Rose McAbee, Farmville, Va and Ruth Handcock, Kansas. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, February 5, 2005 in the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
