Shafer, Jr., Wilson E.Thursday, February 24, 2005
Wilson E. “Ned” Shafer, Jr., 67, of Richmond, died Thursday, February 24, 2005. He was a member of American Legion Post 125, Manchester Moose Lodge 699, and Old Dominion Legion of the Moose 148. He is survived by his son, Russel Edward Shafer; daughter, Judith Marie Shafer; brother, Richard Lawrence Shafer; grandchildren Morgan Lee, Sofia Charlotte, and Sara Clare Shafer and his special friend Susanne Ford Carlton. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 1st at 12:00 noon in the J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service Chesterfield Chapel . Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends today at the funeral home from 2:00 -4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
