Condolences

Maureen, we had been trying to find a way to get in touch with you and Marion not knowing that he was so sick, but worried about him. We were devastated to hear of his death as he had been such a good friend. We grieve with you as you have lost a wonderful husband and we have lost someone who made life larger and so much fun. GWPCA was never the same without the two of you and we remember the wonderful times on the river and the lake. Just know that we care and would love to see you or help in any way that we can.

We only knew Marion briefly, and that was our loss. We were his neighbors at Bel Arbor, and, as was the case with all of his neighbors, he made us happy in his presence. He was an impressive man, and a lovely man, and he showed great courage throughout his illness. We, and all of his friends at Bel Arbor, will miss him, and we extend our deepest sympathies to Maureen and his family.
