If ever there was a person who, as the poem says, was "important in the life of of a child", it was Ruth Grizzard. She not only supported her husband as he cared for so many in his professional career, but also raised three wonderful children who would follow in their parents' footsteps. America needs more fine people like that. Because of the superior medical care rendered me, I now have two very healthy children for which I will be forever grateful. And I am only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to people who are grateful for such a fine family. God Bless You All. I know she is smiling down on you.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy over your loss. I was unable to attend the services, but pray that you will continue to celebrate Ruth's life. We lost both our parents in 2004, so know how painful this time is for you. If you would like to talk or get together sometime, just throw me a line or call - I'm still at the same number my folks had for 50 years! (732-8039)I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Sheila best as we were once classmates, but I have had contact with all of the family thru the years (my older brothers were in school about the same time as Sheila's brothers). I remember Mrs. Grizzard as a gentle, loving and caring woman. I have prayed that the Peace that passes all understanding be yours, and may you rest in the knowledge that Jesus loves all of you more than you know.
