Helen White Hopkins of Hopewell died February 7, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Hopkins and was retired from the State Department of Education. She is survived by her sons, James Lee, Edwin Patrick, Joseph Anthony Hopkins; step-son, Thomas Lee Hopkins, Jr.; step-daughter, Sarah H. Sandstrom; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 11th at 11:00 AM in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Thursday, February 10th from 7 to 8:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church in Hopewell or Chester.
