Redmond, Helen L.

Helen Louise Redmond, 84, of Petersburg died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at John Randolph Medical Center. She was a native of Petersburg and the daughter of the late Thaddeus K. and Rosa M. Redmond. She was baptized at an early age at First Christian Church, Petersburg. She is survived by her brother, Milton Redmond and sister, Frances Bowers both of Colonial Heights, and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
