Marshall Lynn Moore, 75 of Petersburg died on Monday, February 1, 2005 at Hunter McGuire Medical Center, Richmond, VA. Born in Petersburg, VA., he was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. Mr. Moore was a retired Sales Representative for Great Central Insurance Co. and Lawson Peanut Co. Mr. Moore was predeceased by his parents Willie Robert Moore, Sr. and Maude Goodrich Moore and brother Willie Robert Moore, Jr. Survivors include his sister, Katherine M. Nunnally of Dinwiddie; niece, Diane N. Petzold of Dinwiddie; nephew, Robert L. Moore, Sr., of Prince George; one great-niece and three great nephews. Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, February 4, 2005 at Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. John Crocker of West End Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday (tonight) from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
