Jean Collier Williams, 78, of Dinwiddie, died Saturday, January 22, 2005. She was a native of Petersburg, the daughter of the late Herbert P. and Nora Harrison Collier. She was a retired employee having worked in accounting at Fort Lee. She was a lifetime member of West End Baptist Church and a Burlington Garden Club member. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne H. Williams; sister, Marjorie C. Kelly; niece and her husband, Karen K. and Worther G. Becker, III, all of Petersburg and a great nephew, Worther G. Becker, IV of Richmond. Graveside funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday in Blandford Cemetery. It is requested that memorial contributions be made to West End Baptist Church, 6506 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, VA 23803. Arrangements are being handled thru the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Petersburg. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Margie, Karen and JoAnn,

Jean has always held a special place in our lives. She was a wonderful lady and we will miss her! Our deepest sympathy to each of you in the loss of your sister, aunt and mother.

I was sorry to to hear about your mother death. I know you will miss her as you both had shard a lot together and that was great.
I will not be able to come to the service Tue. as Diane has told you I have been ill for some time.
