Dear Charlotte and Family;
I am one of the Morris cousins. I was deeply saddened when I learned of Lewis' death. He is someone whom I have admired and respected since I was a child. Although, Lewis was only eight years older than I, he always seemed more serious and mature than the rest of us. Over the years, I have enjoyed visiting with him at family functions and I have a high regard for what he has accomplished in life. Our family especially appreciated his visits with my grandmother, Sarah Marks Morris, when she was living with my parents. He was very helpful and thoughtful during those times. I will miss him.

I'm sorry I can't be with you at the service tomorrow but my thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Sincerely,
Dick Morris

Dear Charlotte:

We were so sorry to hear about Lewis' death. It was a shock to us since we had seen him at Ernest' funeral last year and he looked so good. Please know that our many thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
