SSGT Bobbie Lee Jan, U. S. Army Retired, 72, of Petersburg, died Friday, January 7, 2005. Born in Maquoketa, IA, he was the son of Lavone Purdy Jan and the late Anton Jan. He served in the United States Army for 25 years including service in the Vietnam War and was employed with the U. S. Postal Service. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Jackie Jan. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
