Hall, William C. Sr.

William Cecil Hall, Sr., 88 of Baltimore, formerly of Disputanta, died Sunday, January 16, 2005. He was the son of the late Herbert L. and Ida E. Hall. Mr. Hall was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was also a member of the Hopewell VFW, Hopewell Moose Lodge #1472, and the Disputanta Ruritan Club. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rosa Lee Hall and is survived by his wife Bernice Hall of MD, two sons William C. Hall, Jr. and wife Rose of Prince George, Ronald Hall and wife Barbara of Colonial Heights; step-daughter Joann Seidman and husband Sherald of MD; three step-sons Thomas Harris and wife Sue of DE, Robert Harris and wife Annie of MD, Dennis Harris of Gasburg; a devoted sister Virginia Bain of Spring Grove; four loving granddaughters, Sherry, Karen, Lori and Debbie; eight great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and ten step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, January 19th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Newville United Methodist Church on Thursday, January 20th at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
