Humphries, Virginia R.

Virginia Reeves Humphries, 58, of Macon, GA, formerly of Matoaca, joined the lord and her beloved grandmother, Ruth Brockwell, at 6:20 p.m. on January 1, 2005. She leaves behind her husband, James H. Humphries; son, James Harold Humphries, Jr. and wife, Eleasha; daughter, Dorothy Robinette all of Macon, GA; sister, Barbara J. Gould and husband, Louis of Dinwiddie County; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; cousins, Gene Brockwell, Jr. of Sutherland, Rick Brockwell of Dinwiddie, Willy Brockwell of Colonial Heights, and Jimmy Reeves of Chesterfield. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with John Nobles and Bill Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at East Matoaca Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
