Lowe, Danah M.Monday, December 27, 2004
Danah Myrtle Lowe, 90, formerly of 14th Avenue, Hopewell died Monday, December 27, 2004 in John Randolph Nursing Home. She was born in Wise, VA and had been a resident of this area since 1973. Mrs. Lowe was the daughter of the late John Otis and Lou Culbertson Shell and the widow of Isaac Cunningham Lowe. She is survived by a daughter, Betty I. Estep of Hopewell, three sons, Carl E. Lowe and his wife Carol of Hopewell, James O. Lowe and his wife Sue of Columbia, SC, Paul N. Lowe and his wife Debbie of Princeton, West Virginia, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one sister, Katherine Hess of Richlands, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 29, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:00PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ray Angel, assistant pastor of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Betty, Ed, and family, We are deeply sorrowed at the loss of your mother. She was an amazing women. In spite of all her sickness I do not think I ever saw a day when she did not have a smile on her face and a warm greating for you. You could tell she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grand children. Our prayers and thoughts are with you this day and in the days to come. We can all be happy knowing that with her faith in Jesus that she is now filled with joy and peace beyond what we can understand. God Bless you and keep you all.
