TO JENNIE BELLE'S FAMILY:
SHE WAS SUCH A LOVELY PERSON. SHE ALWAYS DRESSED NEATLY AND WITH SO MUCH STYLE.
SHE WAS A VERY KIND, FRIENDLY AND GENEROUS PERSON. SHE GAVE US A SILVER SALAD FORK FOR OUR WEDDING PRESENT, AND WE TRULY APPRECIATED IT.
I WAS DEEPLY MOVED BY THE BEAUTIFUL SERVICE YOU HAD FOR HER. I AM A JOSH GROBAN FAN TOO. I LOVE HIS MUSIC.
WE GIVE THANKS FOR THE LIFE OF JENNIE BELLE AND FEEL BLESSED THAT HER LIFE TOUCHED OURS.
Dearest John, Bob, Jim, Jennie Belle, and family,
I am so thankful to have been a part of your dear mother's life for the last couple of years. She was a perfect lady in every sense of the word. She always put everyone else before herself. I have never heard a negative word uttered from her lips. She was always very positive, and her attitude seemed to be contagious. I can still see her throw her head back and laugh! What a beautiful lady, inside and out! Some people come into our lives and we are never, ever the same. Jennie Belle was one of those people. I am so thankful that she came into my life, and into the lives of the ladies and staff at the Petersburg Home for Ladies. She brightened our little corner of the world. Thank you for sharing her with us. We have been touched by an angel.
With great love,
Teresa Weeks and family

Sometimes when John and Camille were out of town, Jennie Belle would call to see if we were home because she liked knowing someone was around. As we remember stopping to talk with Jennie Belle on the way to and from our house, sharing some figs with her from the tree in our yard, and seeing her walking with Reb and Sadie, we realize that over the years we also enjoyed knowing that she was nearby.
JENNIE BELLE POWELL– a gracious, charming, Southern Lady; our neighbor, our friend. We will miss her.
