Bowen, Eva O.

Eva Olean Bowen, 70, of Hopewell, died Friday, December 17, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Greene County, NC and had been a resident of this area since 1953. Mrs. Bowen was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Pearlie Carter Faulkner, her husband Thomas H. Bowen, a sister, Jeanette Wilson, and 2 brothers, Russell Faulkner and Harvey Faulkner. Mrs. Bowen is survived by two daughters, Virginia Ann Powers and her husband Perry of Prince George, Wanda Sue Bolhuis and her husband Gilbert of Midlothian, two sons, Thomas Junior Bowen and his wife Paula, Roy Alan Bowen and his fiancée Cathy, all of Hopewell, 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, and a sister Mary Smith of Winterville, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 19, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 20, 2004 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. James Maggard, pastor of Broadway Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. George Dembeck pastor of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
