Joseph Franklin Chaplin, 77, of Richmond, formerly of Petersburg, died Friday, November 10, 2004. He was the son of the late Boyd Burnett and Myrtle Berry Chaplin. He was a retired electrician from Firestone. He is survived by his wife, Beulah V. Chaplin, a son, Wayne Chaplin and a grandson, Cory Wayne Chaplin. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
