Barksdale, Marshall H.

Marshall Hubert Barksdale, 87, of Hopewell, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2004. A native of Brunswick County, VA, he was the son of the late George T. and Odessa M. Barksdale and was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Barksdale. He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Johnson and her husband, Walter T. Johnson; grandchildren, Nelson Harvey and Sheila Drown all of Prince George, Karl Harvey of Dinwiddie, and Betsy Gibson of Chesterfield; and great-grandchildren, Chase Harvey, Dallas Gibson, and Zachary Harvey. An entombment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T.
