Hess, Elizabeth M.

Elizabeth M. Hess, 87, of Chester, widow of Herman W. Hess, Sr., passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2004. She was a member of Chester Baptist Church for over 50 years, member of Chester Garden Club and many Bridge Clubs. Mrs. Hess is survived by three sons, Herman William Hess, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA, Milton Andrew Hess of Charles City County, VA, and Robert Lorimar Hess of Richmond; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Lamb of Atlanta, GA, Cynthia Garcia of Andover, KS, Jennifer Hess of Alexandria, VA, and David Hess of Charles City County; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2004 at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Edward J. Stansfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
