Veronica Lloyd Bishop, age 35, of Church Road died April 21, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Bishop; son, Jason A. Bishop; daughter, Brittany N. Bishop; mother, Sally Lloyd; sister Crandall Partin; brother, Neal Lloyd; niece, Courtlyn Partin; nephews, Andrew Lloyd and Colby Lake Partin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Louise Bishop; sisters-in-law, Brenda Mayton and Patricia Goodwyn; brothers-in-law, Scott and Robert Bishop; several other nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her father, William D. Lloyd. Veronica coached T-ball and girls softball for Dinwiddie County and was a loving mother, daughter, sister, “auntie” and friend. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM tonight, Friday, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday, April 24th in Blandford Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the J. B. and Brittany Fund, c/o the Bank of Southside Virginia at either the Rohoic or Dinwiddie Branches.
