Raymond Johnson, age 87 of Hopewell, widower of Jane Johnson, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Betty Keeton of Church Road; two granddaughters, Tammy Bobbitt and Dawn Garrett; three great-grandchildren, Amanda Pearce and Jordan and Cole Garrett; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson was a retired Battalion Chief with the City of Hopewell Fire Department and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30PM Monday, April 19, 2004 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, April 20, 2004 with The Reverend Raymond O. James, III officiating. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park.
