Rollings, Elizabeth D. P.

Elizabeth Darden Poole Rollings age 74 of Chesterfield died Monday, May 17, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Rennie Eugene and Nancy Rebecca Birdsong Poole and the widow of Samuel Godfrey Rollings. She is survived by two daughters, Anne Rollings Saez and her husband Pablo and Rennie Rollings Aldag; four grandchildren, Merry Saez, Emily Saez, Amy Aldag and Jason Aldag; and many loving friends. Mrs. Rollings was much loved and affectionately called “Granny”. She was a retired Secretary with V.D.O.T., served as organist and Sunday School Teacher at Sappony Baptist Church, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Stony Creek Volunteer Rescue Squad. She was active in the Richmond Area Doll and Bear Club and was a true wizard with Needlepoint. She was a beloved caregiver to her family. Friends may call at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, May 21 where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 22. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery.
