Cole, Lucille S.

Lucille Sizemore Cole, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, July 2, 2004. A native of Halifax County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edmond and Carrie Smith Sizemore. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield County Public Schools and a member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Petersburg. Mrs. Cole is survived by her husband, Harry West Cole; three sons, John Vincent Cole of Richmond, Gene West Cole of Hampton, VA, and Charles Ernest Cole of Madison Heights, VA; four grandchildren, Vincent Cole, Meghan Cole, Shannon Dennis, and Bryan Cole; two great-grandchildren, Walker and Riley; and two sisters, Carrie Lee Sizemore of Amherst, VA and Aurie Bowen of Virgilina, VA. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 5 at Aaron’s Creek Baptist Church, Halifax, VA with the Rev. Harvey Skinner officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to7 p.m. Sunday at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
